Quit over thinking. You always have this habit of analyzing every little detail of everything that’s happening around you, including the ones other people are experiencing, too. Always thinking that something is wrong with you or how you go about your business. But don’t you see? That’s the thing; it’s your business and your life. Do the things that make you happy. Eat the food you want and not think about all the “carbs” in it. Wear your favorite loose jeans and faded t-shirt because it’s comfortable. Life is just too short to always worry about what other people think instead of focusing on what you think and how you feel, for once.
Insecurities will be the death of you. Not literally, of course. Like how you stay a little longer in front of the mirror thinking how someone like you could ever be loved, how you wish that your nose bridge was a little higher and just giving yourself all these unnecessary luggage and self-doubt. Trust me, you don’t need this. You are special, you are loved, and you are uniquely beautiful. You have to stop wanting what you don’t have and start appreciating all the things that you do have. If you don’t stop, the insecurities will consume you from the inside-out. It will stop at nothing until you are left with just a shell of what you used to be.
Cupid has a plan for you. I know you’ve been stressing about why, in your small group of friends, you’re the only one who hasn’t experienced the “butterflies in my stomach” kind of feeling. Don’t worry too much. Because when the right one comes, there’s going to be a lot more than butterflies in your stomach- think pterodactyls.
You’re worth more than what you think. You are loved. Life may not always be fair but it’s always beautiful. So, live it the best way you can. Live in the moment, cherish every memory. You have your family, you have your friends, you are incredibly lucky. Don’t let life’s little loopholes get you down. Remember, every day is a new day and a fresh start. Nothing is ever easy, people will always disappoint you and things don’t always go as planned but that doesn’t mean that you should stop trying, trusting and believing.
